Clinical Microbiology

Clinical Microbiologists undertake laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures/samples using specialist computer software and a range of identification methods and clinical trials. New infectious diseases, such as HIV and SARS, are continually emerging and old diseases such as tuberculosis are re-emerging and this calls for the need of Clinical Microbiologists.

DPMI provides an environment that helps students to develop analytical and experimental skills with a systematic approach towards the task. The institute has an adequate number of well-equipped laboratories with modern equipments.
