Delhi Paramedical & Management Institute, popularly known as DPMI works under the aegis of PMTS of India & is registered in Delhi under the SR Act 1860, Section 21. The Institute has successfully completed 23 years in the field of imparting skill based technical education. The core intent of DPMI is to promote Paramedical Health Education, Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Tourism, Journalism & Mass Communication and Veterinary Sciences etc. sectors in our country. Skill India is a campaign launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji on 15 July 2015 which aims to train over 40 crore (400 million) people in India in different skills by 2022. It includes various initiatives of the government like National Skill Development Mission, National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2015.
NATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (NSDC)
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is an organization set up by the Government of India to facilitate the development and upgrading the skills of the growing Indian workforce through skill training programs. NSDC, a body under the Ministry of Finance, is one of its kind public-private partnership endeavors, with 51 percent equity held by private sector and 49 percent by the Union Government.
